Skywatch: The Duster of Doom (2014)

A South African short scifi-comedy about an accident prone janitor who stumbles over the controls of a NATO super weapon and triggers events that will change the world forever. The film was made in 7 days as part of the 168 Film Festival (2014) in LA and is nominated for 8 awards including Best Film and Best Director.

Armed Response (2013)

The 2013 Flaming Faun trophy for Best Film Made In South Africa was awarded to mockumentary sit-com pilot Armed Response, written/produced by Donovan Graham and Greg Parvess and directed by Donovan Graham (“We shot Armed Response on a Samsung something or other…”). The pilot is a humorous take on life and crime in South Africa today.

Saving Norman (2013)

Winner of the Jameson First Shot 2013 competition, Saving Norman, written and directed by Hanneke Schutte, is about a hypochondriac ex-ping pong player who missed his shot at fame because of a cold and now lives holed up with his parrot Norman. When Norman gets narcolepsy pet psychic Belinda  realizes that to help Norman, she'll first have to help his owner.

The Lovers (2012)

The Lovers, which won an Art Film Festival Cannes 2013 award, is a short surrealist story about a man and a woman and a metaphor. In a Dali-esque landscape, actors with covered faces explore their relationship in a simple narrative which leaves interpretation up to the viewer.
